Bill Marsh Kalkaska Named Business Of The Year
Before a packed Chamber of Commerce
luncheon earlier this month, Mike Marsh received the highest award given to a business in Kalkaska County.  The chamber president cited renovations made at the dealership that help boost the image of the village of Kalkaska.  He also named community activities that included the Kampout for KAIR, Toys for Tots, fundraisers to help the school and a drive to assist a local veteran who was injured on the job as reasons for the award.

"This community has opened its arms to us," said Mike Marsh in return.  Marsh complimented the staff that was mostly hired by the previous owner, Dan McCormick, as being a group of quality individuals that positively reflect on both the car dealership and on the community.

The award came as a surprise to owners and staff at Bill Marsh.  "This was totally unexpected," says Marsh.  "This was the first acquisition that my brothers and I had when we took over the company from our dad, and I don't think it could have gone any smoother.  We are proud to be a part of the village and the surrounding community," adds Marsh.
